Colored Wood Mulch
Our colored wood mulch is made from on site from locally sourced materials. It is manufactured from high quality recycled materials that are hand sorted to be free of contaminants. We use a precise mixture of wood fiber products and our own unique colorants to give the mulch a color that lasts all season. It is available by the cubic yard in red, black, dark brown and our signature colors, cherry brown and saffron.
Cherry Brown
This is our most popular color by far. The Cherry Brown is a rich brown color with hints of red undertones. Its natural brilliance suits nearly every landscape situation.
Black
Our black is very concentrated in in color. Green foliage and bright colored flowers really pop against black mulch.
Dark Brown
This color has more black undertones to it and is more of a matte brown.
Saffron
This color is made from 100% recycled pallet wood. It has unique color of beautiful golden yellow with hints of orange and red. It reminds us of the rising sun and is an amazing complement to deeper colored plants and flowers.
Red
Our red mulch is made from 100% recycled pallet wood. Its red color truly pops! Red is a true classic.
Natural Bark Mulch
Our natural bark mulch comes in two different variations; single shred and double shred. (You will be able to see the difference of the two in the pictures.) This mulch is constantly decomposing which generates heat so it must be cool to the touch before putting it around plants. (See General Mulching Tips). Because it is constantly decomposing it will can turn a whitish gray in 6-10 weeks.
Double Bark
This natural bark mulch is made from hardwoods and is medium to dark brown in color.
Single Bark
The single shredded bark comes straight to us from the saw mill and is the raw product for our double bark. It is light in color and very inconsistent in size. It is not recommended for decorative mulch due to its inconsistency.

This organic material is a wonderful soil amendment/ conditioner as it adds organic matter, which is often lacking in our clay based PA soils. It can also be used as stand-alone mulch that will feed your plants as it decomposes around them.
Economulch
Is a product from our organics line. It is a natural mulch made from a combination of ground brush, grass, leaves, stumps, etc.
Kiddie Kushion: Playground Safety Surfacing
Kiddie Kushion is designed to prevent the severity of bodily harm from falls off of playground equipment. We grind and screen it different from decorative mulches to increase the likelihood of buoyancy and impact attenuation (proper maintenance is required to maintain these properties). It is widely used by many municipalities and school districts in the area. We also have a certified playground safety inspector on our staff to consult with you on all your playground questions and needs.

This is our Playground Safety Surfacing Mulch. It is designed to keep kids safe. It is heavily used by many municipalities and school districts in the area. We also have a certified playground safety inspector on our staff to consult with you on all your playground questions and needs.
